SSLAC Meeting on Friday


The Student School Library Advisory Council will have their first meeting of the year on Friday, September 16th, at lunch, in the School Library. All students who are interested in joining this group, or at finding out more about it, are invited to attend.



The Student School Library Advisory Council is looking for students at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary who can help shape YOUR School Library. Speak up and help the School Library to be the very best that a School Library can be.


Canadian Library Workers’ Day


A big thanks goes out to all the people who work in libraries around the country, and in this library especially! Thanks to our Library Team of volunteers, Library Science students, and others whose work in this program provides a vital service to the students and staff of this school.

Library Team Meeting Wednesday at Lunch

There will be a Library Team Meeting on Wednesday at Lunch.  All students who plan to volunteer in the School Library this year must plan on attending. Bring your lunch and come down right after the bell.

If you are have volunteered in the School Library in previous years, if you are brand new this  year, or even if you are just thinking about it, please plan on being at this vital meeting.

We are looking for responsible, diligent students to work as library monitors at lunch, before school and after school. Earn service hours, get first crack at new books and enjoy the privilege of serving your school in an important way.
