November is Peace Month in your School Library. We celebrate the expressions of human yearning for peace in our world. We learn more about the struggle for peace in all its complexities. We look at alternatives to war, including peace activism, anti-war movements, pacifism, civil disobedience, radical forgiveness, and non-violent resistance. Over the years we have featured “Songs of Peace,” as art can help to evoke feelings which spur us on to deeper thinking, discussion, and action.
