Sustained Silent Reading takes place everyday at the start of 2nd period, 9:25 to 9:44.  Read.  Read something that you pick.  Read something that you are interested in.  Read to escape.  Read to learn.  Read to be entertained. Read to be informed.  Read to laugh. Read to cry. Read to be scared. Read to be amazed.  Read for  your own reasons.  Just read.
