Once again we are very pleased to host SafeTeen seminars in the school library. Grade 8 GIRLS will be attending SafeTeen seminars on May 20 & 21.. As such, the room will be closed to all drop-in and study block students, as well as to all male staff.

The school library is hosting public health nurses who are here to help immunize our students from a variety of diseases!
As Provincial Exams and other final assessments take place at Lord Tweedsmuir this week, the school library schedule will vary. Thanks for your patience for those that are writing exams in the School Library. You are welcome to come into the library for study, research, quiet work, reading or book selection during those times when exams are not being written.
On Friday, January 31, the Second Semester begins and the school library schedule will return to normal.
Reading is its own reward. But from time to time we like to give a little something more to those students who demonstrate a love of reading to the rest of the class during SSR. Teachers select students for Reading Rewards tickets, which earn them trips to the school library during class for warm beverages, some tasty treats, and some bonus silent reading in a warm, comfortable and festive atmosphere!

Do you love reading and do you demonstrate that each day during SSR? Ask your teacher about Christmas Reading Rewards! You might be lucky enough to come down to the library this week for some tasty Holiday Treats, a warm drink, some Christmas music, and, best of all, some silent reading time!
SafeTeen will again be in the school library today, for the afternoon blocks only. As such, students are reminded that no study block students or drop-in students will have access today. No female students or staff are to enter the library during the boys SafeTeen session.
